How close are you to the slopes?
We're within walking distance. We're the closest to the lifts on the Mountain Road.
Do you have rooms with a view?
Although we feel all
views of Killington are picturesque, we do offer some rooms with slightly better
views. Almost all have either the Mountain, valley or ski area view. If a specific view is requested, we will do our best to honor it.
Unfortunately, we do not
accept pets. We have had a few bad experiences which has made it hard for
us to allow any types of pets. We would be happy to co-ordinate boarding
for your pets, if needed.
What
else is there to do if we do not ski?
There is snowmobiling, cross country
skiing and horse drawn sleigh rides all within minutes of the Inn. You may also enjoy the outlet shops in Manchester and
Woodstock. Please visit our Things To Do page for more information.
The Mountain Inn offers shuttle service to
the slopes during weekends and holiday periods. In addition, Killington
offers public transportation with pickup at the lodge entrance and drop offs at
the slopes, restaurants, and nightclubs.
What
time is check-in and check-out?
Our guest may
check-in at 3:00 pm, and need to check-out by
11:00 am on the day of their departure.
We have an excellent
restaurant on the premises. Please read about the Santa Fe Steakhouse.
The Crossroads Area Dining Guide is brought to you by Killington's favorite newspaper, The Mountain Times.
Are
there things for kids to do?
There are variety
of activities for children under 21 that are easily accessible from the
lodge. For example, on Saturday nights, Ram's Head Base Lodge becomes a
night club for the under 21 set. Incidentally, this night club was voted the
#1 night club in New England!
What type of dress is required?
Casual dress is appropriate.
